Our clients want to provide the best care for their pet, regardless of their financial concerns. Just as important as regular preventative care, however, is managing your expenses so you can continue to provide it to your beloved companion.
Our Wellness Plans 'bundles' all the preventive services that keep your pet healthy throughout the year into an easy monthly payment plan, helping you save money and manage your budget.
What is included in a Pet Wellness Plan?
Our Pet Wellness Plans for cats and dogs in Wake Forest include the essentials for your pet to thrive.
Our Plans include 6-month and annual wellness exams, core vaccinations, heartworm testing and blood work. They will also include a year-long supply of preventative medications for ticks, fleas and heartworms as well as a fecal exam.
The Importance of Preventive Care
Wellness exams provide a total health check for your pet. They allow us to find and treat emerging health issues before they become more serious and allow us to keep tabs on your pet's diet to ensure they're getting enough daily nutrients.
Sometimes pets can look health, but there may be early signs of disease present. Sometimes, even without obvious symptoms. That's why we run tests like bloodwork in order to make sure they're doing their best.
Parasites can be deadly for an animal of any size if left untreated. Prevention provides the best protection, which is why we provide a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medication with every Wellness Plan.
If your pet becomes infected, our fecal exam services and heartworm tests are designed specifically to catch these potentially life-threatening conditions, which are otherwise undetectable until your pet becomes seriously ill.

While both Wellness Plans and pet insurance help you manage the costs of your pet's veterinary care, the types of veterinary services they cover are different.
Wellness Plans include preventive care costs (things like vaccinations and routine exams), while Pet Insurance is designed to cover emergency services, accidents, or specific illnesses.

My pet is young and healthy. Does it make sense to buy a Wellness Plan?
Regular preventive veterinary care for young animals can help build a foundation for good life-long health. When you sign your pet up for a Wellness Plan as a puppy or kitten, puppy/kitten vaccinations are included in the monthly fee.

Wellness Plans helps keep senior pets feeling well as they age. Your Wellness Plan can be customized based on your pet's unique recurring needs, and that includes aging-related requirements! Wellness Plans for older pets include the standard core services, in addition to screening for various age-related diseases and disorders.

How do I make the monthly payments?
Your payment information (credit card) is entered into a secure portal when you sign up for your plan. You can choose the withdrawal date between the 1st and 15th of each month that's best for you.

I have more than one pet. Can I get a discount on multiple wellness plans?
When you sign up multiple pets at the same time, you will only pay one $50 enrolment fee.

What happens if my pet passes during the 12-month commitment?
If your pet passes away during your 12-month commitment, we will cancel the plan immediately.

Will the Wellness Plan cover all of my pet's healthcare needs?
Wellness plans cover the routine care that all cats and dogs need (core vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and more). You will also receive a 15% discount on spay and neuter procedures and 10% off products and services (excluding diets).

Do Wellness Plans renew automatically after a year?
Yes, unless you request that we cancel your plan, it will renew automatically each year.
